Embark on a 3-day spiritual journey to Mata Vaishno Devi via Jammu and Katra. Enjoy a peaceful trek and divine Darshan at the holy shrine. Comfortable stay, transfers, and serene surroundings included.

Day 1: Arrival Jammu - Katra (50 kms 02 hrs)

On Arrival at Jammu (City of Temples), meet our representative at Jammu Railway Station / Airport and drive to Katra Arrive at Katra, Check into Hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Katra-Vaishno Devi-Katra (15Kms one way)

After breakfast, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan. Trek up / horse ride from Katra to Mata Vaishno devi Darshan (15.kms one way) (on your own). After Darshan, back to Katra for Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Katra - Jammu (50 Kms / 02 hrs)

Leave from Katra for departure transfer to Jammu bus/train terminal/airport for onward return journey to your respective destinations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most people travel via Jammu, which has a railway station and airport. From Jammu, you can go to Katra by train, bus, or taxi. The shrine is about 13 km uphill from Katra, which you can cover on foot or use options like ponies, palkis, or a helicopter.
You need a Yatra Registration Slip, which is free and available at Katra or https://online.maavaishnodevi.org . It must be shown at the Banganga check post. Carry valid ID proof, water bottles, warm clothes, and some snacks for the journey.
The trek from Katra to the shrine is around 12–13 km. For a fit person, it takes 4 to 6 hours. If you prefer comfort, you can use ponies, palkis, battery cars, or book a helicopter for a quicker and easier journey.

March to October is the best time, with pleasant weather. Avoid the monsoon (July–September) due to heavy rains and slippery paths. Winters can be very cold, but the crowd is less.
For senior citizens, children, or anyone unable to walk long distances, there are ponies, palkis, battery vehicles, and helicopter services. Medical stations, drinking water, and food stalls are available all along the route.
